• The microphone element is a max planar type with superior clarity and noise figure
• Integrated pre amplifier with line driver will work into any recorder at line level
• Noise gating with adjustable threshold - suppresses background noise and speech or music outside the area of operation
• Signal peak limiter to prevent overload of output stage and recorder
• Adjustable output gain

The CMI microphone offers exceptional audio quality and sound pick up over a large area with built in electronics to aid external noise reduction and close range audio overload / distortion. The CM1 can be fixed to a wall or ceiling and is designed to be as innocuous as possible.

The response of the microphone has been tailored for conversation recording using sophisticated audio processing.

For disguise and covert operation the CMI microphones can be custom labelled.

CM2 Covert Option Pin Head Microphone on a 5 Metre Fly Lead attaches to CMI pre amplifier module.

Nearfield (<1m distance) to whole room operation: will clearly pick up conversations in rooms of up to 50 cubic metres volume.

Switchable low frequency filter with180Hz / 240Hz / 300Hz centre frequencies removes or attenuates hum or rumble outside speech band.
